The breakfast was simply stunning, overflowing with homemade goodies—a real feast to kickstart the day! The peaceful vibe of the rural setting allowed us to unwind completely. Plus, the chance to bike around the beautiful countryside was an absolute bonus!

A cheeky critique? We only stayed one night, and in hindsight, we could’ve made it to Ypres by 8pm and returned for another night of blissful retreat at the farm. Still, every moment shone bright during our stay!

A Perfect Retreat for Families!

We enjoyed a delightful 3-night stay in a spacious room, greeted with warm hospitality from Barbara and Dirk. The breakfast spread was incredible, featuring homemade delights. The peaceful surroundings allowed us to unwind, with plenty of biking opportunities. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

varlet farm bed & breakfast is a superb place to stay! david is an excellent host, genuinely interested in his guests' experiences. the breakfast with homemade goodies was amazing, and the quiet countryside made it a perfect retreat. we enjoyed borrowing bikes to explore the beautiful area nearby. the honesty fridge was a great touch after a long day of exploring!

Our stay at the farm was a treat for the whole family, including our dogs! The host, David, prepared delicious local foods for breakfast, and we enjoyed a memorable visit to the nearby WW1 sites, enriched by his insightful stories.

My wife says that the bathroom could offer more space for kids' toiletries.
